When I got a BA in Biology from a liberal arts college many years ago, I took one semester of Calculus, that's all. It was enough to get me through the physics, chemistry, and computer/stats I was required to take.

As to what is harder, that depends on what kind of student you are, what you like to do, what your gifts are...etc? I loved biology, was good at memorizing lots of names and scientific terms so I did well in biology, it didn't seem hard for me. As a grad student I majored in Botany/Plant Taxonomy (identification and classification). I minored in Horticultural Materials and plant/soil science. While I learned a lot about the use of plant materials in landscape, there was a whole lot more I would have needed to learn for landscape architecture. That would have been harder for me but right up someone else's alley. So determining which one is harder is very subjective and depends on the individual involved.

Hope this helps!

Biology requires a year of college mathematics. If you're worried about math, then you should go with landscape.

I think landscaper or general laborer maybe best for you (ref: "archtecture")...
