I'm in the process of purchasing my very first home. But the front and back yard are full of weeds. What I can do to get rid of the weeds and have a healthy presentable lawn? Is there any type of seeds or feed I should use? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I like the Scott's turf builder, but for most weeds in the lawn I prefer Weed B Gone. It can be used in a hose end sprayer to spray the entire lawn and also as a spot spray for the stray weeds that come up.
