Default I can't make what I wanted landscaping, so should I lower my price?

I have been doing Lawn Services in my area for about 5 year on my own. I figured starting off I would charge $10.00hr. but I wasn't making anything, and I was working my ass off...So I went up to $15.00hr. I had a little extra change left on me, but not enough work. Then I lost a few job's because of lack of experience, and at same time had someone offer me a job for $20.00hr. doing all sorts of thing's around her house...I took it for about 4 months. made a steady good income, but now she's went back to another country, and I'm not making anything sitting home feeling sorry for myself every day. Nobody call's, everybody I call doesn't have work, and it's in the middle of winter, I'm broke, and have nothing saved...what should I do? I can't find a regular job because of felony, background check's etc.
