Default Landscape Edging/Border?

I have a circle driveway (OSB rocks). I am wanting to do some kind of landscape (flower bed) in the circle part of the driveway. My question is what would be good to use as edging/border to separate the mulch and the driveway? I have considered Monkey Grass (Liriope) but have found it to be pretty expensive. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Either Monkey grass...or Lilly Turf.....
I know that it can become really exspensive...but when you purchase them...look at them as two!! yes two...you can divide your plants and have setting from the ones you bought..and save money too!
I bought 4 and ended up with 16....divided...last year and the grew wonderfully!! and great for edging in flower beds...drive ways...or any other places you need to outline your garden.
But remember.....you have to trim them...to keep them looking nice...and you can always dig them up and divide them more in 4 to 5 yrs.
hopes this helps....and good luck!

Liriope is a great edger, and yes, it can be expensive. But I have found that if you look for the larger pots, initially more expensive than the little 4" pots, you can divide them and get a lot more plants for your money. Sometimes you can also buy them by the flat, in what they call starter plugs, with a lot of small plants for the cost of one or two bigger ones. They do grow very quickly.

These are not going to be available at a big box garden center, you will have to go to a nursery, and perhaps you can get them ordered for you.

Landscape roses are very pretty, but they do have thorns where people are getting out of their cars, and they will cost a lot more than liriope, which is evergreen, stays where you put it pretty much, doesn't get out of hand or need drastic pruning, and does not need a whole lot of maintainence.
