Is it appropriate for experienced gardeners to demean less experienced gardeners with terms like "twit"? Is gardening experience more or less important than landscaping experience? Don't we all come to this forum to share our experiences and learn? Shouldn’t we treat each other with respect and encourage everybody to participate in this forum?
I think the other poster applies the term to a specific individual within this community to purposely denigrate and demean that individual. I don't believe that it's appropriate to name call anybody.

I don't know how you can identify who is or is not a Master Gardener on this site. Without independent verification no one can truely know. Anything short of an independent verification is just a guess. I think we need a procedure to verify the title or ban its use all together. I am more than happy to provide verification of any and all of my credentials.
