Default Any tricks for getting rid of whiteflies in a young vegetable garden?

Sticky traps and insecticidal soap (w/garlic oil) help, but I'm wondering if there are other solutions too besides poison.

Stick pieces of wood partially into the ground- shingles are good- painted with a bright yellow paint and covered with motor oil. The yellow will attract them and the oil will trap them
