What are vegetables that are easy to grow in pots?

I do not have a green thumb, but I do have a toddler who likes to garden. I am looking for vegetables that are easy to grow in outside pots. Ideas would be appreciated.

Tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers.I know it's not a vegetable, but I've grown strawberries in pots, too.
