Please search "companion planting" ..on the internet...alot of veggies and herbs grow well together..I personally keep herbs growing all year long and couldn't start to give you some basics..for there are millions... also remember basil planted within 2 feet of a tomato plant will "sweeten your tomatos"..planting a hot variety of pepper close to a sweet variety of pepper will make the sweet (bell etc)pepper hot..they "cross pollinate.
