my lawn is 1 and ahalf old and still have patches of dirt (more clayish then dirt,,, i live in a zone 5 area)
i only layed down contractor seed, next spring i want to lay down the same stuff with a mixture of penn state seed, 2 questions here
1) is it okay to do that (mixture of 2 different types of seed?
2) if i spread the mixture of grass seed on the parts of my lawn that already has grass will it thicken up (the grass)?
