Default I planted new sod grass in my yard how long befor i can walk and cut it?

i want ot know how long I wait befor it can be cut and if i can spread fertilizer on it to help it grow and is it bad for ppl to be pickin it up from whre it is laying (I bought sod grass that comes in squars) also how many time am i to water it? p.s i live in texas

you can walk on right away to put on sprinklers or root promoting fertilizers(second and third number are the ones you pay attention to) and water it deep . Just ask the garden center. Don't pick it up. Once laid that should be its final place so the roots go into the ground below to tie the sod down to become a regular lawn.water every second or third day and give it 2 weeks before cutting it...on your no watering day. Should be good.
