I am looking after a house many miles from where I live. A utility company had to dig up part of the parkway and then replaced it with sod. Great, but then I'm supposed to water the sod every day. I did water it once, and then it was raining pretty regularly, but now the grass appears dead. Is there a way to cultivate grass without watering everyday? It would require a lot of gas and time for me to go out there and water every day for two weeks, as the utility company has suggested.
