This industry is highly localized by small companies. It is an industry that doesn't have large economies of scale that would allow a big player, say "Lawn Depot" to compete effectively with the little guys.

As a result, I wouldn't expect to see any mega-national-lawncare companies being publicly traded in the near future. The little guys would crush them to bits with their low overhead and (frequently illegally) low labor costs.
