Take crushed garlic and mix it with water in a spray bottle. Spray flowers, veggies, etc. It'll keep bugs away. Also plant marigolds near whatever it is you want to protect. These flowers keep nasty bugs away too.

try flour and water in a spray bottle ive never tried it but i heard that it works i also heard that if you save all your leftover vegetables and bury them in your garden your plants will be healthier

You sprinkle itliberally anywhere or you can use a fertilizer spreaderand go around your yard with it. It also works in the house.You can put it anywhere that little hands(kiddos) might not touch; as it could irritate eyes and mouth etc... Vinegar - men hate the smell; so does vermin. Mix 3/4 vinegar with 1/4 water in a spray bottle and spray everywhere. You can spray corners,bedding etc... If themen complain use 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water in spray bottle.Peppermint Oil- hard to find, works great on rodents in theyard, house and even in the attic or basement.Good Luck!

I've heard mixing liquid dish washing detergent and water in a spray bottle (weak) works well against mites, aphids and some other bugs.
