If they are wild you should leave them alone. They can be very aggressive. Geese are flock birds and there is a strong chance that many of the birds are related. Catching one would not be a good pet and it would have the instinct to fly away in search for its flock. If you want to have a pet fowl it would be best to buy one from a local farmer that has domesticated geese.
