Koi are from china like alki said and are a type of gold fish but are just bigger and more colorful

actually those fishes are from china and places from Asia. in Greece where i live they have no such things just to let you know

Have you tried going to a pet store and looking for advise there? They have how to kits to make the pond and books on how to care for those kind of animals
