lol, I just had to say good entertaining question.

i think the chipmunk does if it can cry. onions give off a gas which disturbs the eye. the eye then waters to wash it away.

My cousin had a boxer who ate onions out of their garden, roots, dirt, and all. She had terrible breath. If the onion was too hot, she would bark at the onion and go back to eating it. She was crazy about onions.

It may make the chipmunk have pretty yucky, burning poos. If so, chipmunk may stay away from the onions for awhile.

i would think the animals eyesw would water i mean they're just like us but smaller
