Default Is it possible to plant wheatgrass using the hydroponics method?

Also i would like a comparison: which is better, hydroponics method or the convention using-soil method
Anyway if it is, is it difficult? can an amateur like me ( :S) sucessfully grow it?

I was a completely amateur and with a very cheap guide I bought online, now I have my hydroponic garden. Check the link in my signature.
