Default A bug laid yellow eggs in my ivy houseplant and killed it, what bug would that be...

...from? The eggs were clustered together and had some kind of protective webbing over them. The eggs were laid in a single layer over the top of the dirt. When I removed the eggs it came off in chunks, appearing to be attached.

there is more than million speaces of insects doing that behavior, try to load photo.
