Default Can I start liatris corms inside a few weeks before planting outdoors?

I was curious if one can plant liatris corms inside under a grow light a few weeks earlier than just planting into the ground? The growing season is very short where I live so I've already started seeds many weeks ago... I understand that my lily bulbs must wait but are the liatris corms going to have the same problems a lily bulb might have?? -B
