Default Can I take my houseplants out of CA?

I am moving from CA to IL. I have houseplants that I will not part with. Can I move them out of CA with no hassle from D of A?

Are there any movers, private drivers that will take them with the rest of my load?

I don't think CA would have any problem with that. The real question is whether IL will allow you to take them in.

I'm sure there are. I had a private driver bring my ficus tree to CA. If you can bring it to CA, I'm sure you can take it to IL. CA is nutty about bugs, but IL? Not so much.
