My mother loves her plants. I have no problem with that. The problem is that there is a weird smell and flies [very annoying] coming from them...I dont know if its the soil or the plant it self.
Can someone give me some tips that I can use to stop this nasty smell. Im tired of spraying airfreshener and burning incense.

Sounds like your mumsey is using a fish based liquid fertilizer. Hell it does stink. Also... it could be one of her plants.. believe me not all plants smell that great. The soil.. who buried the poodle in the pot plants. No.. dont think its the soil.
