Default Growing Fresh Herbs?

I just bought a couple pots of herbs. I got rosemary, basil, parsley, and culantro (not cilantro). I read they need alot of light, but I don't have a south facing window, will an east or west window be sufficient sunlight? Or if anyone knows how many hours of daylight east or west windows get. I have to grow them inside because we our renting the land. Thanks in advance.

either will be fine depending on the sunlight to the windows, the morning sun will be best and the mildest, just pick the window that recieves the longest period of sun. Also you could try growing them in a small teranium, so that they have more heat!
