My lavender seeds grow just one set of leaves before dying, sunshine doesn't help. I use vermiculite and a little water to house the seeds.

I have never grown lavender from seeds so I don't know how difficult it is to grow. I bought one plant from a garden center years ago and now I have more lavender than you can imagine so I would say that just buying plants is the way to go.
