I have a lavender room. What other colors can I incorporate to make it a

grown-looking room? I'm 16 years old, but right now my lavender room looks kind of childish. What colors, curtains, bedspread, and accessories can I add to make it more grown-up?

NOTE: I have a really light oak furniture in my room. I wish I had white furniture, because I think it may look better... but I'm not going to go out and spend lots of money on brand new furniture.
