Is anyone else a horrible gardener on Webkinz?

I just can't seem to grow anything. And it takes forever. Even my sisters (who are younger) can grow stuff! Does anyone else have this problem?
I do check on it every day. I think I forgot once and it died. And then I went on vacation, and now I have to start all over again.
