Default Does anyone know how working for a nursery/garden center is?

I applied for a job at a local nursery, they sow seeds, do cuttings, water plants etc. They said it is moderately paced. Has anyone done this sort of work before? Do you recommend it?
They also said it was for production so its like a plant warehouse thing...

I have worked at a nursery for 14 years. we grow mostly evergreens but 7 or 8 years ago they added on a ornamental plant division that involved the type of work you mentioned i worked in that part of it for a little over a year, the cuttings were not bad but gets old fast the same thing over and over.. watering not bad, if you have to lug potted plants in 3-5 gallon pots all day that gets hard on the back.. but all in all i love nursery work.. that's just my taste i guess...

its not good if you plants then go for it but your going to be outside for along time and your face is going to have the bad part in it if you dont put sun block on cause its going to get spots and wrinkles more faster
