My lazy good for nothing scum sucking 45 year old brother lives with my mother and father. My mother protects him and speaks up for him at all costs, like she dropped him on his head when he was born or something and can't get over it.

My dad went to hospital today and, of course, nobody bothered to tell me until 6 HOURS LATER. Poor dad in hospital without clothes, money, anything.

When I went to get his things from my mother I noticed the garden was a complete mess. Oddly enough, that morning I'd been discussing the problem of council tenants and messy gardens with the local officer. So I pointed a finger at my brothers good for nothing scum sucking chest and told him "As the able bodied adult you should be taking care of the garden here. If I see it in this state again I'm going to report you to the council housing officer."

It was an empty threat as I just wanted to kick his disgusting ass about a bit. But is there anything I can do to actually force him to look after the garden?
gavmel259: Nice idea but I'm worried my dad with get hysterical (as he does) and try to clean it himself.
bernie c: They are all insane except me, so that makes me the odd one out. Trouble is that even though they unite against me they also tend to be very mercenary towards each other. Despite it all, I still love them so have no choice but to help when stuff like this happens.
