Default in the garden of Eden what was refer to as an apple????

for it was ritten that eve took the apple and eat of it an then she took it to adam and offered it unto im and he eat from the same fruit that wos also eaten by the devel

That is an interesting question, but I still believe a snake was a snake and an apple was an apple. Fyi, the devil is never mentioned in the genisis. I guess everything is symbolic to you.

Actually... It was NOT an apple in the original translation... It was a pomegranate...

It represented “forbidden knowledge”.

And Eve was not the first woman in the garden of Eden… Lillith was but she was evil and ended up as a demon or something… (I am really tired and can’t remember right now).

It doesn't actually say apple it says fruit. So it may not have been an apple. But I still don't know what it is that you want to know.

Funny how translation works...if it were an apple, wouldn't we gain knowledge with every apple we took a bite from?

It doesnt say apple, it says fruit...someone assumed it was an apple...

I dont think that old serpent had any fruit that day either...

An apple a day is said to keep the doctor away.
