Default A gardener wants to fence the greatest possible rectangular area using 200m of

fencing. Find the best ......? ..... length and width of the garden _ m x _ m width first, length second

As you should know the way to maximise area for a given boundary is to use a circle.

If you are constrained to a rectangular shape then the closest approximation is a square where all the four sides are of equal length.

So each side is 200/4= 50m
