Hello, i am a final year under-graduate student from Manchester University doing a piece of research into gardening. Below i have mapped a semi-structured interview in which i hope to extract some detail into why people engage in gardening. The research will of course keep anonimity for anybody who chooses to reply. I need around 4 people preferably 2 male and 2 female although that is not absolutely necessary. 9) Why? Could this be due to external pressures such as an increased awareness of certain risks such as crime? Or the recent increases in financial insecurity on a global scale? Or in particular environmental risks?
