Default How much should I expect to pay a professional gardener for maintenence work?
I'm talking more pruning and jobs I'm not sure about doing myself rather than mowing the lawn etc.

It depends on the market where you are at...

Here in Saudi Arabia, I can get a TCN to do garden work for five USD per day. Back in Houston, the guys in the Home Depot parking lot would want about 20 bucks for a half day, whereas Local high school kids would want $20 an hour for physical work - and they wouldn't do as good a job...
