I would like to involve as many parents as possible with out alot of out of pocket expense. We live in a very small community and we are the new kids in town. I would love some feedback. Are there bussinesses that donate materials and seeds?

Go To The Principal And Ask If You Could Direct A Planting And Gardening Day. And Say That The Only Condition Would Be That Each Student Need Only To Bring In One Packet Of Flowers.

put up fllyers go to a PTA meeting or IPTO. whatever it is called talk about it to the princpes and teachers to see what they say. get as many volunteers as possible. try it to see if that will work

You should begin by speaking with the school administrators. You must first get permission. If they support the idea, they may be willing to help in coordinating fundraisers to fund the project--if they won't allow it, you really can't go any further. It they say okay, and won't contribute, bring it up at a PTA meeting and discuss it with the teachers in your son's school so that they can reach out to other parents.
If enough hear about it, even those who are not able to help physically may be willing to donate to the cause.
