Default I have let her flower bed and vegetable garden be killed by our horses, what...

...should I do? I let our horses out to graze, and they decided to eat EVERY flower and vegetable in the garden. I WAS TOLD to let them graze!! I cannot be held responsible for this, can I?
I do not want to sleep (again) in the barn, with the horses, but what can I do?
I have offered to buy replacement plants
I have offered to change oil, do the dishes, cook meals, adopt discarded pets, buy her the finest "dimoneque" three banded ring?
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated,
Thanks,
