If you're talking about flies that feed on food, garbage or feces, you would need to keep these items out of the reach of flies. Those kinds of flies lay eggs that turn into maggots and in a day or two they hatch into adult flies. Try to keep that from happening by TIGHTLY bagging all waste products. The harder you work at it, the less flies you'll see. Whatever is attracting them needs to be eliminated. If you're talking about flies that are attracted by flowers and plants, it might be a good idea to ask a company who sells plants to see if there's a pesticide that can be safely used.
