Default I just plowed under my garden and I want to plant some turnips seeds I have?

What is a good way to plant them? just scatter them out into a big bed or in rows or bunches? I live right on the gulf coast it is 8pm rightnow and 70 degrees out side so I think it will be ok to go ahead and plant and maybe the bugs wont eat up the greens.
the seed are in a brown paper bag in thr frige no directions.
