Perimeter (x is length, y is width):
2x + 2y = 50 m
Given:
x = 3/2y
Substitute given into perimeter:
2(3/2y) + 2y = 50 m
Simplify:
3y + 2y = 50 m
5y = 50 m
Solve for y (width):
y = 10 m
Solve for x (length):
x = 3/2(10 m)
x= 15 m
Garden: 15 m x 10 m
