Default is it okay to keep a cat 'domesticated' , and within a trusted perimeter i.e the

house, back garden ? i ask this because i have a cat and recently had her spayed. The cat has become very attatched to all of us and is affectionate and affection seeking. The cat is about 7 months old now, interestingly if u could tell me what that is in human age equivalence that would be cool to know.

As this cat grows older, is it going to disadvantage her in any way if we do not let it 'roam' around freely on our street ? its something I personaly thought about just recently as i've seen the odd 1 or 2 cats in my area going about their daily adventures (ususaly theyre hopping garden gates, fences, going thru garbage cans..).

we cannot possibly imagine letting our cat go out of prescence, yet we do let it out into our back garden. Will she be at a disadvantage to say other cats who seem to venture off in unmarked territory ?

get back to me on this cat enthusiasts.
