Default one of my garden gnomes, Jose, wants to be on tv commercials. What should I do?
He's thinking of doing commercials for car insurance.

oh those commercials were so funny! Yeah, you should let him do the ads, who knows, he may star in his own show someday...

You need to counsel him about all the competition.... but if he really wants to do it, see if he can get a gig with a travel website..... he might have an "in"

Put together a portfolio for him and have him cruise the Craigslist "Talent Gigs" section. He'll latch on to a new obsession in a few weeks.

If he doesn't, he'll learn pretty quickly how territorial Geckos can be.
