I'd like to take an overnight trip with my family to Busch Gardens ( I live in DC area). My children are 11, 8 & 5. Going will be myself, hubby and children.

OK...my dilemma. Do I take my 5 y/o or leave him at home with his grandparents? They aren't interested in going and I'm afraid that my son will get irritated, fussy about not being able to ride the "big" rides. As such, hubby and myself won't have the freedom to ride whatever rides we want.

What's the best choice? Sacrifice and stay in Kiddie Land or leave son at home? BTW, son is NOT the type that will be happy with doing some rides for him, and then some for us. He'll be frustrated unless the whole day consists of "HIS" riding.

Think I answered my own questions, but would like to hear opinions. On the one hand, I'd feel terribly guilty if I left son at home; on the other, this could be a potentially frustrating time if he goes.
