I do not recommend any form of solar landscape lighting. The quality of the fixtures is just horrible, the solar panels are quite cheap, and the Ni-Cad batteries that they use are very low tech and will develop a memory effect quickly. (Here in Canada, they are also not appropriate in freezing conditions).
Then there are the issues of the light produced. Generally speaking, the LEDs used in these fixtures are very low intensity and have extremely low Colour Rendition Index. Most are blue or amber and do nothing more then glow. They really don't project any light at all.
If you want an effective, efficient, long lasting outdoor lighting, look to a professionally designed and installed low voltage outdoor lighting system.
