I have four Bonsai Trees that I have bought in the last two months. Since then, about three weeks ago an infestation of black gnats have infected them. I am about to pull out my hair due to frustration.

I have bought new different soil, the most expensive brand for each tree. I have bought charcoal so the trees can breathe. They get watered once a week, which they seem to enjoy but I can't get rid of these irritating bugs!

Right now I am trying Apple Juice in a plate, I understand that this works to attract them so they drown. I am getting close to buying a pesticide.

What is a good one to kill these gnats but not harm my trees?!
