Are bonsai trees leaves smaller than "big" trees?

well yeah the whole tree is a minutarised version of the large one.
but they require a lot of pruning to stay small

Yes they r,I have a Needle Juniper is a Pine Tree.They required a lot of attention.If u want to know about Bonsais,get this book at Barnes &Noble($22.00) The Living Art of BONSAI by: Professor Amy Liang,its a great book,lots of pic. about all types of Bonsai.Its got all the info. u need to grow them & train them.But let me tell u this,its not easy growing a Bonsai.Gilbert.
