Is there a particular way or time of the year to trim a Bonsai tree?

no set time but if tree is dorment then trim if its growing all year round trim backbto last shoot on branch making sure you water tree three times one for the pot one soak and one complete spray with mist to give braches leaves a soak this will help tree to get over shock of trim
