Default How can I kill mint growing in my flower beds?

I have mint growing in a number of the flower beds at my house, and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. What will kill it? Is there any way to get rid of it without killing everything else in the beds? Thanks!

I made that mistake once....the stuff is crazy with roots everywhere. I looked for answers on the same subject and found most said that the only way to do it is to dig it out and keep digging. You have to kill the roots. Luckily, I only had a few flowers around mine so I just dug up the whole bed and saved what I could. Good luck.
