Default Non Flowering plants in massachusetts?

I am looking for some and I cant find any , apparently the whte pine , and scarlet oak flowers???

White pine does not flower, it produces cones.

Scarlet oak does produce flowers in whats called catkins.

If your looking for non-flowering plants look for the following:
Ferns
Mosses
Liverworts
Pines
Cedars


Two things that people get confused on though:
Grasses DO flower, its just highly reduced
Fungi are NOT plants so won't even count in this convo
