Default Planting flowers inside-do pots need holes on botton??

For my wedding in august we purchased decorative pots to use as centre-pieces. We are planting flowers in the pots and having them grow and encouraging guests to take them home and plant them. I just purchaced Nacissus bulbs and i'd like to plan some in the pots. My question is, the pot doesn't have a hole in it-will that be a problem? I always though that they didn't need holes in it because the bulb and the plant soaks it up. So, before i put them in the mini-pots, should I grow them first in a bigger plant pot-with holes? Also, I live in north canada, so growing these outside is not an option.

The holes are for the extra water to drain out and not spoil in the pot. Just don't over water and it won't be a problem. you could add (fish tank) gravel to the bottom to collect the water and it will evaporate.
