Christmas (or Winter) Box (Latin name: Sarcococca) has highly scented flowers from late December through to Early March. It's scent is amazing for the time of year. It is fully hardy and is an evergreen shrub. It comes in various sizes, I have the dwarf varriety that grows no bigger than a couple of feet high. It has shiney dark green leaves, with small white flowers!
