Default What causes squash plants to grow HUGE, and have many flowers but never produce...

...any squash? We planted a garden and the yellow squash plants took over! But every time we thought there would be squash....Nope!

Sounds like they aren't being pollenated. There are male and female flowers. The male will be a more slender stalk without a bulge at the base. You can pollenate them youself when the bees are not. Use a small artist paint brush when the flowers are open.
