Default what is the first step for planting a flower?

pleas pplsz answer cuz i soon have 2 get off da comupter

1.) place seed into dirt OR place transplant into dirt

If this is a question from school you probably need to say "test the soil".

After a soil test, you would dig a hole the size of the pot of your flower, turn the pot on its side and gently pull out the flower keeping soil around the roots from the pot. Put into the hole and fill with the left over soil that you took out of the hole. Water well.
