that's a really good way to put it! It's been really, REALLY dry here lately, and I've had to get out and water all the trees, berries, grapes etc. in my yard, not to expect any fruit this year but to keep them from dying. I was out doing this this afternoon and picked up one scrawny little peach off the ground under one of my trees, with only one good side. I took one little bite and it was sweet and scrumptious and wonderful. I won't be getting any more peaches from that little tree this year, but maybe next year, or certainly some day I will, and I know they'll be delicious! That's what it's all about!

I am connected to all things nature. I especially love really old big trees. I have plants. I grow things. I rescue dogs and other wildlife. I spend too much of my time trying to rescue fallen/dying honeybees. Even though I am highly allergic. I love them because it is them why we have flowers in this World. Yea. I get a magical feeling and not very many others do. Too busy to notice.

Absolutely. I feel most inspired to write poetry after spending time in the garden.
